Advice on remodel of 1950 bath

I recently purchased a 1950 ranch with an almost original bathroom. At some point they installed a shower liner, linoleum floor and fleas.

The wife hates the color of the matching Tub/toilet/sink. I actually like it. It's so old, its almost new! I'm sure someone would pay good money for fixtures like that. Anyways.... Happy wife, happy life, right?

So I had a thought. I could salvage the fixtures and use them to "remodel" the basement bathroom. Wife is fine with that idea, but my biggest concern is the cast iron tub... It looks like a PITA to move. I would assume with a few hands and proper leverage/tools it could be done without too much back breaking. Any thoughts?

As you'll be stripping all the walls down to the studs anyway...
do what banging round you must to get it out to the hall without guilt or worry.
Have some help.
