What type of fitting copper pipe to plastic softener

Replacing an old water softener with a Fleck 5600 and the supply lines for the control head are 3/4" plastic threads (see below). The water supply lines running to it are 3/4" copper.

What type of fitting(s) do I need to connect the plastic 3/4" MPT softener to 3/4" copper pipe?

I was reading a few sites that said because plastic and copper expand and contract at different rates, there needs to be a rubber seal between the two to make sure no leaks would happen. Looks like that 3/4" FIP end has a rubber washer up in there and should keep it from leaking?

Re: What type of fitting copper pipe to plastic softener

So I assumed the plastic male threads on the bypass valve were 3/4", but they are actually 1". Doesn't look like Sharkbite has a 1" female to 3/4" push-to-connect sharkbite copper.

What is my next best option?

Thinking either:
A) Contact the seller and get the 3/4" version that attaches to the bypass valve body
B) Find a reducer that's 1" female to 3/4" male - then the previous sharkbite hose would work. Looked a bit at the store and had trouble finding this size of reducer though.
