what size of a pump


i am think about a new pressure pump...this pump is in the basement... my well is 55 ft deep.. should i get a 1/2 or 3/4 size

what is your demand load... what is the gallon per minute of the well now...

i am not sure how to calculate demand load.... the well is 8 gpm

can you get us a picture of the existing pump...is it a shallow well pump...

i think its shallow well... its a 1/2 hp...
