Wet Room with Exposed Concrete (no tiles)

Hi there,

I'm researching options for a bathroom with exposed concrete finish. During the pour of the floor we left a tub sized void in the corner because I wasn't sure if it was going to be a countersunk tub or a curbless shower that was going in.

In a perfect world a custom concrete form could be made in the 34"x 60" area. The only seem would be between the existing floor and the newly poured shower base.

I've been scouring google for a writeup or image of this being done though! There always seems to be tile slapped over everything.

Have you ever seen anything like this?
