Water leaks from pipes behind wall

Please throw out any ideas. Please help me.

It appears whenever the washing machine is ran, a random leak will appear. These leaks are not coming directly from the machine, the leaks are posted with the red circle on attached photos. Only 1 spot will leak whenever the laundry machine is ran and the spot always seems to change. It has never been the exact same spot come to think of it.

I think it must be the dirty water going OUT of the machine because using a nearby bathroom never causes this leak. Is this even possible and why multiple locations and always different locations?

-no recent remodeling, not even hanging up a tower rack or something like that
-no caused by rain
-this is 2nd floor. no leaks on first floor although photo 1 will show a spot on the stairs leading to the first floor that got wet

-sometimes water on the top of molding, sometimes on carpet near wall, or sometimes both

Photo 4
-red arrow points to what I believe is the dirty water going out hose, which I assume connects immediately to some sort of pipe

So, it doesn't leak unless the machine is in use? i.e. no laundry for a week and its not leaking?

Re: Water leaks from pipes behind wall

All these red marks indicate the wet spots on the carpet, correct? And the rest of carpet is dry??

Re: Water leaks from pipes behind wall

No pets.
Only leaks when laundry is ran, I can usually find the leak while the laundry is ran.
Have not tried doing no laundry for a whole week, but we have gone no laundry for several days and no leaks happened during those days.
It is not showing up on the ceiling below, the first floor.
Red marks indicate all the wet spots I found.
Rest of carpet is dry.

I feel like I am being punked by my own family. Can this really happen?

Water leaks from pipes behind wall

If the drain is slow you would get water leaking when washer is on rinse and also spin cycle. It would be easy to check just fill washer then drain it and look and listen to drain pipe. You can hear the water rising if you have drain issues. It happens a lot with the newer washers vs the older ones. They move more water. As far as leaking in different spots I have no idea.
Also that particular washer will leak with heavy jeans and heavy towels down the back of the machine. It happens when you use too much soap and you also have to slow the spin cycle down on the heavy loads. You can look for that leak right under the vent on the back of the machine. Generals you will see dust everywhere but clean right directly under washer vent. Itís on the back right side if you are looking at machine from the front

Put a security camera in that hallway about where you took photo 1 from. See if someone/something else is creating those wet spots.

How does a single drain line below the floor create those 4 spots above the floor?

Where were the wet towels sitting before you washed them?

Re: Water leaks from pipes behind wall

Ignore towels, they were just placed there temporarily.

Good idea about the camera. I am starting to suspect that someone is sleep walking and going to the bathroom in random spots. We all heard stories of a guy(always a male) peeing in the refrigerator or tv etc.
