Re: Water leak under foundation block

u should find out what new water supply line professionally installed will cost and their timing to get your water back...2/3 of actual costs is split between excavation equipment and materials and final 1/3 is labor so not so sure you will save a bunch... either way u go - good luck

Peace

Re: Water leak under foundation block

I understand from what you guys are saying that this old Iron pipe is no good. However we can't really afford a big project like that at the moment. If i wanted to just patch the current leak and make do with the old pipe for now.. What would you guys recommend? Thanks so much

If you don't ask for a price\quote you will never know how much it will truly cost...
I recommend you find your leak source, completely expose & dig that section out (above and below pipe, forward and aft for several feet); identify the type piping involved, take pictures, post your findings.

Peace

Re: Water leak under foundation block

Total cost was $350 and the actual leak was about 4 foot over from where the water was springing up. The pipe leak was in the front yard about 2 foot from the wall, not under the house. Just wanted to update. Thanks again fort the help!
