URGENT! Crap in shower drain!

One of my boys did some stuff in the shower, and now it's a little blocked up. I poured some boiling water down and plunged it a little, so there is an alright flow at times but when plunging it is still tight and there is a bubbling noise coming from the floor drain which has some water and crap in it (not sure if it's supposed to have water in it). It is a little smelly too..

Should i tip drain cleaner down there? I'd like to clear it up before anyone notices what happened to save anyone any embarrassment.

Try baking soda and vinegar. Pour some down floor drain to. No hard chemicals.

Floor drain has trap, so normal for water to be there.

If simple plunging and baking soda/vinegar don't work, you'll have to snake it. Just a suggestion.

Others will be along with more ideas/suggestions.

Insert a garden hose in the drain and let it rip.

find a way to plug the floor drain before doing this. Depending on where the blockage is and how the drains were designed, it might end up with the path of least resistance for the water to be back up the floor drain.
