Tub Drain Replace or Leave As Is

Renovating bathroom, while i have the tub out and the tub drain trap exposed, does it make sense to leave as-is or cut out and replace with PVC?

It's a brass tee, not sure the material for the elbows or straight run, appears to be copper or brass. all of it's 1".

Looks original, 1977.

Re: Tub Drain Replace or Leave As Is

Not good odds your new tub well have the exact same center. Cut it out use a all glue together tub waste with a new trap. And A proflex copper to plastic adapter.
