Tramco 960 lift station

This is a question for any experienced plumbers. I moved in my current house two years ago. There is a Tramco 960 lift station (flood control) with battery backup in my basement, that was installed four years ago according to the paperwork and warranty card. It is working fine, but I have no idea what kind of maintenance, if any is required. Could anyone advise me? Thanks.

Is the battery a 12 volt car battery. If it is about time to take it up to an auto parts store and get it stress tested.
