toilet instalation problems

I reinstalled the 1 year old toilet i have. I follow the instruction with wax seal etc. but still i notice some water coming out around the bottom edge of the toilet?
I think this might be the 3/4" plywood subfloor is flexing a bit? Should i take it out and use 2 wax rings?

The other problem with this $99 toilet is that is already stained in the bowl, i use Commet and scrubbed but it is still stained? Is this because it cheap quality? how can i clean it?

Re: toilet instalation problems

It's possible you didnt get a good seal. Sometimes using two wax rings helps.

Is flange level with floor? Post some pics after the toilet is pulled. Thanks.

Yes, stains can be removed from bowl with some pumice cleaner. Unless the porcelien was scratched from using a metal snake instead of a toilet bowl auger for a clog at some point. Google toilet bowl stains. There are a lot of simple options you can try.

I did hear cheaper toilets have thin or less smooth glazing. Your water may also stain more. I started using kaboom toilet cleaner. It may be chlorine or bromide. The bowl stays cleaner but still needs brushing now and then. You can't get away from cleaning it - the bottom line.

I would not waste my time with a $100 toilet. Buy something decent. It will have better glazing in the trapway and the bottom will be flat.
