Hello Everyone. I have an upstairs one pc fiberglass shower stall that is leaking around the drain fitting. Take a look at the two photos attached. First one is the top piece that screws into the plumbing under the shower (flange broken).
Second one is the shower stall floor and the drain itself.
Here is my problem: I have been to Lowe's, home depot, special local plumbers supply, ace hardware, and two other local hardware stores looking for this fitting and have not been successful.
My fitting is either slightly smaller in diameter, or has different thread pitch or profile than ones available on the shelf.
I don't want to have to tear up drywall on the floor below to locate, tear apart and install an entire fitting. I'd like to just be able to find a fitting that matches this one and possible use just the top component of the fitting to replace my broken piece.
Since I have not been able to locate these parts, I am wondering if the shower was installed with discontinued hardware or maybe something that really isn't even a shower drain to begin with. Can anyone help??
