Replacement Drain/Trap kit for OLD Cast Iron Sink Kit?

I think the drain kit is original to this old sink. The "gasket" (it's a gasket only in the technical's round, it was once made out of rubber) between the sink bottom and the trap connector is crumbling and leaking like a sieve. There's no locking nut connecting trap to the tailpiece, so I'm not clear on how the trap is actually snugged to the sink bottom.

I'll post pics below as the site will not allow links in my very first post.

Can I buy a drain kit that will fit this old sink at Lowes (or other big box)?
