Re: Questions About Braided Supply Line

@SeniorSitizen , I sense some bit of cynicism in your reply, unfortunately. This online forum only survives because folks want to come together to collaborate and learn from each other experiences. If we all snubbed our noses at the forum and decided we didn't need each other's help, we'd all leave the forum and it'd die.

Yes, I could have just gone out to buy some stuff and tested it. And yes, I could have dumped out lots of $$$ to buy actual Aeroquip braided line and averted this whole conversation. But it seemed smarter to first come here first and ask if anybody has first tried the faucet supply line with oil. Hence, I'm making a contribution to the livelihood of this great online community. And most (perhaps not all) get to learn a little bit as we share experiences back and forth.

After about XXX amount of BS maybe there comes a time when some cynicism is pertinent. I gave you some engineering data and you being an engineer I thought possibly may appreciate it but I guess not.

BTW, Allis Chalmers tractors have had poly oil lines to the oil pressure gauges for decades. Have a nice day.

Re: Questions About Braided Supply Line

Well, by all means @SeniorSitizen , feel free to unsubscribe from the thread if there's too much rambling going on here. Many folks enjoy and appreciate the collaboration and learning from each other, but it seems you get frustrated at it sometimes. You've shared valuable feedback to me and others, in other threads in the forum, but it is frequently laced with cynicism. I'm not sure why though, since you're clearly very knowledgeable about things, but dread sharing it politely with others.

Cheers!
