It's not a cartridge that leaks. It's where the spout meets the base. All that's inside is the spout and the replacement parts Moen sent. I did contact them about it (email) but no reply yet.

That is a little harder to fix, since it means taking the whole unit apart. By the time you calculate your labor. You could just replace it with a new unit that is less than $50.
