Need a tool to remove a sink faucet 1-1/2" nut

I am replacing two sink faucets that aren't that old...Probably 10-20 years old. In this condo, both the kitchen and bathroom sink faucets are the same one-hole type faucet. Both have a large, approximately 1-1/2" nut around a threaded sleeve where the water lines pass through that is recessed and impossible for me to access with adjustable pliers or a crescent wrench. There isn't enough room between the wall and the sink bowl to get either tool in there. I'm convinced there must be a special tool for this. I even bought the orange Rigid 4 in 1 tool from Home Depot but it would not work on this large nut.
I've been googling around and found something called a "basin wrench", "basin buddy" (which looks like the end of the Rigid 4 in 1 tool), and even a "shower valve" wrench. Any one of these might work if I could find the right size and it has to be long enough (8-12 inches) to reach from below.

Any ideas?

thanks!

I just finished digging through my pictures from the trip and I didn't take any of the faucet. :/

Does that work on a range of nut sizes? In case I am wrong and it is actually 1-1/4" or 1-3/4", for example?

Is that a Home Depot/Lowes purchase or do I need to go to a real store like Ferguson's?

Available at any big box store. Some are fixed at certain lenght others are telescopic and can be adjusted to any lenght. It grips around the nut. They work great for situations such as yours.

All of the local stores carry the smaller version that handles up to 1-1/4". I need the one that goes from 1-1/2" on up. None of the local stores carry that one. I couldn't even find it on Ferguson's site. HomeDepot.com has it listed out of stock even online.

I dug around and found it on amazon initially for $49 then through another vendor for $20 plus shipping. I'll let you all know how it goes. I should be back there in a couple weeks.
