Question

Need help identifying plumbing fixture

So I just joined here and of course, I need some assistance.
I'm doing some work on a bathtub fixture. Basically, I can't get the thing apart. I can't get the single handle control off.
I've removed the screw inside the handle ball.
So I'm trying to identify the manufacturer and see if I can't get the manual on this thing.
It's about 10 years old or so.

Hopefully, the pick will come across.

It might be crudded up with soap scum or mineralization. Try squirting in some CLR or similar - maybe using wad of tissue paper to hold it in - a let it soak for a bit. Then try rocking it gently using the handle to try and break the seal. No doubt some plumbers will drop by with some better tricks

Welcome to the forum webnight.

As mentioned above already, try some lubrication or vinegar and water. Handle should wiggle off. Looks like a lot of sediment build-up.

What problems are you having? Leaky valve, leaking shower head, etc.

Actually, the problem I'm having is with the diverter valve just below the main handle is leaking in the wall. I can't see much in the back, so I figured looking at it front might give me a better look.
Plus, if I need to replace parts I need to know who makes this unit and narrow it down from there.
I'm hoping it's just an o-ring.

Take the diverter valve out, you will have better luck identifying it. If no luck, bring it with you to a plumbing supply or hardware store and match it up with a new one.

Re: Need help identifying plumbing fixture

You may want to build a dam with plumbers putty and then squirt some vinegar or pb blaster into the screw hole and let soak 1-2 days. Then use faucet removing tool. Google the name and you'll see. If you can, go to plumbers store, not homedepot. This tool comes in cheap to real tool. Cheap ones will have thin jaws and narrow rod, both of which easily bend and become more of a problem than a tool.
