Leaky Faucet

Hey everyone,

I'm sure this is beneath you pros out there. But I want to verify the diagnosis of a leaky faucet.

It's a two handle, cartridge bathroom faucet. When I turn on the water on the cold side, water comes out of the handle and underneath the sink from the center hole, where the faucet head is.

I tightened the cartridge and the leak by the handle stopped but still leaking underneath.

My assumption is that I need to replace the cartridges. And that should fix it. Am I wrong? Is there another part under the faucet that I might be missing?

Thanks, everyone.

Re: Leaky Faucet

If it isn't leaking out of a fitting that goes from the supply line to the faucet, it is leaking from the cartridge or connection as the next most likely location.
