Leaking washing machine and ice-maker

So before work, my ice-maker began to dump water from the fill tube inside of the freezer even after I turned the power off to the ice-maker switch. After turning the water valve to the unit off at the wall and cleaning up with several towels, I put the towels into the washing machine to clean them, and then the washing machine began to leak from the bottom! I didn't have the time to troubleshoot before work to see exactly where the leak was from on the washing machine.

Now, I think it worth it to mention that the washing machine and refrigerator back up to each other separated by a wall (washer/dryer are in the garage), which leads me to believe that they share a common water source. Could the water valves/pressure have anything to do with the problem?

For reference, the refrigerator is a top freezer GE model and the washing machine is also a top load GE unit (I'm at work I'll edit and post the model numbers when I get home). Both appliances and the house itself are around 7 years old. Any help would be great!

Water pressure would have nothing to do with it.
100% sure it's not just water that's leaking under the wall and showing up under the washer?

I'm going to investigate further when I get home. The wife said that she turned the washing machine on and said that she saw water leaking from around the bottom. I would be surprised if the water from the kitchen ended up in the garage through the wall...but I guess stranger things can happen. Will advise when I check it out in about an hour...

Check hoses supplying water to washer.
If pressure is never relieved by turning off supply, not good.
If rubber hoses, not good.
Check hot line first.
