Laundry Room Redo - Copper to Pex

I have a few corroded out copper lines in my unfinished basement. I figure while I'm at it, I might was well redo the whole block.

I've taken a picture of what I have now, and have added a diagram of what I plan on doing. I plan on making the conversion from copper to pex at around the main supply line, and then using a series of T's and elbow joints. For the pex connections, I'll be using crimped connections with copper rings.

Any issues with what I have planned?

For the utility sink and washer, I plan on using a pre-fab sharkbite units

Re: Laundry Room Redo - Copper to Pex

I am not a plumber but I own rental properties and do lots of plumbing. My only comment woud be to add ball valves on each line do you can isolate the different items. That way you will not have to shut down the entire house if something goes wrong with one item, such as the laundry tub faucet. For the one that leads to the exterior I would use a ball valve with a bleeder if you live in a cold climate, so you can turn off the water going outside and bleed the line to prevent freezing.

Also, if possible, i would make the main line 3/4" rather than 1/2".

One more thing... Take the copper you remove to a metal scrapyard. The price that the scrap yard eill pay you for thd copper is often more than the cost of the pex and pex fittings.
