Gas Meter Help

Hello,

I currently have a gas meter on my house that has a 3/4" outlet port to service the house that currently has a 3/4" pipe coming into the house.

I will be adding additional gas appliances to the house and I calculated a main pipe coming from the meter to the house to be 1 1/4" pipe.

Is the gas company going to have to change out the meter to accept the 1 1/4" pipe?

Thanks,

Pat

call your gas co., let them know what additional gas appliances you plan to add. They will tell you if you need to increase the service line
