Gas line to fire pit

decided to run a gas line to my fire pit (under construction) for future. I obtained a 1" PE gas line from a friend. Here are my questions:
1. can the yellow PE be ran all the way to the center of the fire pit? I would plan on installing black pipe to it later via a Permasert transition fitting.
2. has anyone ever poured concrete over the yellow PE piping?
3. would it be better to run a 2" sleeve from one point to the center of the fire pit and install the yellow PE at a later date when Im ready to have the gas functional?

Please refer to picture in my album. thanks!

I would sleeve it and run black pipe near the distribution point.

The thin wall stuff isn't rated for heat.

Also, does anyone know the rules on bending black gas pipe? I heard it cannot be done according to code, but I need to put a kick in the pipe if I go with the black pipe under the concrete...

You buy the riser made that way. Complete with the transition from plastic to iron, it comes coated, and bent. All one of piece. Bob's you're uncle.

Cheers!

PS. Random google link. I get mine from a supplier. Watch out for the IPS and CTS size differences. https://www.gastite.com/us/products/underground/risers/

Pushes on like shark bite. Use a pex like cutting tool and ream. That is critical. Ask the company first to make sure. I guess there's alternatives, but that's what I use.

PS. I highly recommend marking the insert depth before installing. It's very hard to tell if it's right once you start without the mark.

Cheers!
