Free Standing Bath Tub - F2 Drain Adapter

Installing a freestanding bath tub by Maax, model Jazz http://www.maax.com/en/products/bath...tanding/jazz-f on the second floor. There is no access from underneath. The tub sets directly on the finished floor, also with no access to make final drain connection.

The mfg recommends this F2 Drain adapter that allows the tub with drain pre-installed to drop right in without cement.

Does anyone have experience with this adapter? Or a better method to install?
