Faucet

I have a 33 yr old chrome faucet which needs replaced. It has a one knob handle. Its 4". Will a 2 handle new faucet fit? I'm hoping the holes in the sink are the same whether you use a one handle or two handle faucet.

I'm getting a brushed nickel new faucet. But it won't match the stopper which is chrome. Hoping the store carries brushed nickel stoppers.

The reason I'm doing this now is the stopper no longer goes up and down. Our water is bad and I figured something broke off. The faucet is eaten away where water comes out so hard telling what else has worn away.

Before I call a plumber I wanted to figure out whats needed.

Thanks

Re: Faucet

New lavatory faucets are mostly 4" so it should fit. It will come with a matching strainer and pop up.

Re: Faucet

Conscidered having your water tested to see what it needs for treatment, to prevent this from happening to all your plumbing and fixtures?
