Ending water softener?

Hi, we just closed on a house and I'm trying to get any information I can on a Model A822T Enting water softener. I can find no info on their website for this model. It is currently empty of salt but seems to be running in that there are mechanical sounds coming from the head. I thought about just putting salt in the bin but the thing that baffles me is I cannot gong a discharge line for the used brine like my culligan has. Help is appreciated always.

Do you mean you can't find it? Maybe between the in/out port. Some of them are female pipe thread. Pictures from each side of it would be more helpful than the tags probably

I'll have to look at it closer and get more pics when I go back to the house Saturday. I'll try to better describe the problem in the meantime. This softener appears to be in working condition except there is no salt in the bin, only water in the bottom. There is the small black hose between the salt tank and the softener but there is no discharge hose leading to a drain like Culligan softener in my current house. I didn't notice if there was a port to connect the hose to but the waste water would go all over the basement floor without a hose to the drain.

Try contacting Enting (Ohio) via their website. They should be able to supply with a manual.

The valve is Autotrol valve.
Models 155, 1550-TC, 150, 160, 163, 168, 255
with out more information on the valve that is my guess.
If you look up Autotrol on the web you should be able to id the valve that you have and then trouble shoot any challenges that you might have.

Found it when I looked again today. It's the small black hose. My bad. Thanks for everyone's help. New house, I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions.

Rather the green hose. I don't know why I can't edit the previous post.

I think you only have something like 30 minutes to edit a post.
