Dual shower head 3/4 or 1/2"

I am finishing my basement and I want 2 shower heads in the bathroom. Should I run 3/4" cpvc above the shower and "t" down with 1/2" in order to keep the pressure higher? Or should I just tap into the existing 3/4" and convert right to 1/2"?

if each branch is the same length, or roughly the same length, it shouldn't matter either way.
