Dressing stubouts?

Maybe I'm not searching for the right terms, but I'm having a hard time finding out how to properly dress water supply stubouts?

I have Pex lines in the walls, terminated with copper L shaped stubouts. I want to add 1/4 turn shut offs so that I can install my fixtures.

Under the sink is fine, but for the toilet: is there a way that I can dress the stubout up? I know there are escutcheons, but I'm having a hard time finding chrome sleeves? How do the pros do this?

(I haven't decided on shark-bite, soldered, or compression shut offs)

Re: Dressing stubouts?

I presume you do not like the look of copper stubouts, at least I think that is what you are saying. If that is the case, you can install chrome stubouts, if you like that look better, or brass stubouts, if that is the look you want. Chrome and brass stubouts come in the same OD as copper, so can be attached to your PEX.

Re: Dressing stubouts?

Should not need a sleeve.
Just cut the tube about 1-1/2" from the escutcheon and use a compression stop valve.
A whole lot easier to change the valve in the future.
