drain under dirt driveway

I posted another question, but have since abandoned that idea.

Now I need to run a drain from a garage (cement floor to be poured) to a existing drain 15 ft away, acorss a dirt driveway. There will be a utility sink and a emergency floor drain for the garage.

Question:

How deep the drain need to be to avoid freezing?

How deep the drain need to be, and what material it need to be to sustain the dirt driveway?

If you can't quote codes, I would like to hear some common sense.

Thanks

Re: drain under dirt driveway

How deep is the existing drain? That will be your best clue. Although it happens, drain water seldom freezes, and if you use large enough drain pipe it should stay temperate. I would be more concerned about your sink drain if it has a trap.

Cement or corrugated steel pipe with ABS/PVC inside?

What is your frost line?

What is the grade/slope limitations with your setup?

What is traveling over the dirt road load wise? How much erosion will the road be subject to?
