CPVC couplings and fittings in NPS?

I had to cut my condensate drain line in the attic, coming out of my air handler. It's 3/4 CPVC in NPS. I was looking for CPVC couplings, and I can only find them in CTS. Does anyone make them in NPS, or am I supposed to use PVC couplings? It can get up to 150 degrees in my attic, so are PVC couplings and fittings going to be ok? I assume the answer is yes since the HVAC guy who last serviced it used PVC couplings, but I want to make sure.

CPVC is sized to CTS. I don't know what NPS is, do you mean IPS? If someone used PVC on CPVC, it is wrong. Use CPVC couplings.

Nope, NPS. I'm just learning about different types of pipe and sizing. Is this not correct? http://pvcpipesupplies.com/cpvc-vs-pvc

CPVC couplings/fittings I find are all CTS, and won't fit?

If CPVC coupling will not fit, you don't have CPVC. Condensate drain lines are usually PVC and most likely what you have.

Ok, thanks. It's off-white, and the couplings are white. I read on that website that PVC is always white, and off-white is CPVC.
