Concrete slab penetration

I'm getting ready to pour a slab for a garage. Is regular pex tubing suitable to be used for penetraton through the slab?

PVC pipe will work.
Are you trying to pore this slab yourself? Ever done one before?

Slightly oversized PVC conduit sweeps slipped over the pex works well

Use armaflex tubing insulation where it penetrates. In the ground it should be completely bedded in sand or P-gravel. If you have neither use the armaflex the entire length until your out of the ground. Hot water line pex will expand up to 4 inches from cold to the tank temperature. And rocks with sharp edges may eventually wear through.
