Looking to get some advice before moving forward. After heavy rains, water rushes into the window well drain and the ground is soggy in that area.
If you look at the two pictures in the link, I have two corrugated pipe inlets into my sump pump. This pictures was taken during heavy rains. The one on the left has no water coming out. The one on the right appears clogged with clay.
The house was built in 2001 with a drain tile system. I am not sure if both those pipes goes around the perimeter of the house or if one pipe is in the interior and one is for the exterior.
Plan A: Rent a snake and clear both pipes as far as the snake will go.
Plan B: Dig and replace as much of the corrugated drain pipe/tile as possible. Will I need to break the concrete near the sump pump to replace the part of the pipe or can I use a connector on the outside of the wall?
