Catch Basin Options (Yard)

Hi,

I need to install a catch basin for this yard drain. Should I use this Lowes sink basin, and change the pipe end to straight from 90 degree? If so how do I do that - hacksaw off the at the current joint and add an short length?

Not sure why there is a clean-out installed. Is that what it is....and what is the area being drained ?

Yep, that is a clean out. The area being drained is a patch of soil in front of a house.

yeah, what I mean't to ask was how to connect them - I bought the Lowes on linked and in order to get a sealed connection need to remove the 90 degree bend section - how do I do that?

Pipe goes to storm drain in road I think, although we haven't found it yet...
