Chairs

This is my very first post and I'm not sure I'm in the right category but maybe someone can help.
I recently made a new table top for a small table I bought and I love the table so much but I am really getting tired of searching for chairs! I have been searching for 4 matching chairs for about 6 months! I'm not looking for any specific chairs, just wasn't looking to pay a lot because I plan to redo them to match the table. Right now I have 2 arrow back chairs I found for $10!!! I love them but on the other side of the tabe I have a bench that I built and I'm not a fan of it, I really want 4 matching chairs.
So anyway, my question is does anyone know where the best place is to find old chairs? I've literally hounded craigslist day in and day out, I've looked at yard sales, occasionally goodwill, I do not know where to turn and it's honestly driving me crazy. It may seem silly but it really is stressing me out, I just want to be finished with this project and it just keeps dragging on. Any asvice, tips, help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Chairs

I suggest you look at goodwill stores in nice neighborhoods.
Can you post a pic of the table and the two chairs you purchased.
You might be able to find another two matching chairs.

Just because they won't match the other two chairs you already
have don't let that stop you especially because you're going to
refinish them to match the existing chairs.

In our kitchen we have six chairs, four are the same and two are different.
The two that are different we made and finished them to match the
existing four chairs. It looks interesting IMHO.

In our dining room we have 9 chairs and three different styles,
however they all match in color. Six came with the set ( two different
styles) and the other three I found at an antique store.

Don't be afraid to be different.

E-BAY , Garbage (garage) sales, your own ad in a want to buy paper.

They are out there just waiting to be your new treasure.

Thanks so much for replying! I will post a picture tomorrow for sure! I actually did make a craigslist post with a picture of my chairs in search of matching ones, or similar, with no luck. I love the arrow back chairs with this table, they just look so right, mine are white and I plan to stain the seat the same color as the table top but haven't yet since I'm still in limbo with everything. This table is my pride and joy ha ha, I just know my chairs are out there too!

Re: Chairs

We'd LOVE to see pictures of your table (and chairs) - sounds nice.

If you could give your general location, someone who lives in your area may be able to help you.
