Bali 1" Vinyl Blind Replacement Bell Plugs

I installed two Bali 1" vinyl blinds and I attempted to shorten them according to the instructions, removing the small plastic bell plugs on the bottom rail. However, during the removal process three of them cracked and aren't usable.

These plugs are not replacement items available through Bali. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get these plugs, or can suggest a sensible work-around that looks neat and gets the job done. They're cheap blinds but I'm not buying new ones over a $0.02 piece of cheap plastic.

Thanks!

Re: Bali 1" Vinyl Blind Replacement Bell Plugs

The parts are not a proprietary item. They are simply a plastic plug and anything that fits the hole will work; even the ones from a $5 vinyl blind might. You might also find them in the specialty hardware aisle at Lowes or HD. There are 21 pages here: https://www.lowes.com/search?searchTerm=plastic+plugs Measures hole and then browse.

The only useful purpose they serve is that of holding the ladder cord tight and inside the channel. If the blinds are always down tape could save the same purpose.
