When do I lay Baseboard

Im redoing my bathroom.. I was originally going to leave the baseboards, put

down the underlay 1/2 inch ply, tile and put some shoe molding.

Something then told me to rip the nice baseboards out that were already there.

Im wondering now when I put the new baseboards in. On top of the plywood?

On top of the tiles? In between the tiles and wall? I really have on idea. Can

someone please explain..

Thanks

After you are done putting down the floor, painting the walls, putting in the vanity and any other cabinets, and after the door trim is up.

Make sure after you tile, that gap that is between the tile and the wall. Make sure you caulk that area, so no water seeps down in there, in case someone decides to leave the shower curtain open, or the toilet overflows. Also make sure that you caulk between the tub and tile also. Same goes for where the tile meets the closet flange.

If you put up a tiled surround, make sure that you caulked between the tile and the tub, and also the vertical corners.
