Proper layout helps you avoid ugly,narrow cuts---a chalk line and a ruler , a framing square and some common sense--(and hair spray to keep the lines from getting wiped off)

Hello, I am new to DIY and am learning my way around while tending to a spouse that just had surgery, I am also seeking employment since my contracted ended after 9 years. I, sincerely, thank every one for all their patience and advice for me.

I'm a lowly painter and I have tiled a basement with success. So, yes, you can do it. It's hard on the knees and you will be tested by how well you laid things out, but don't be dismayed, it IS doable.
