Tiling Basement, Replacing Vinyl. Asbestos?

Greetings DIY, new member here.

I'm starting a project in my downstairs bathroom to take out the sheet vinyl flooring and install some ceramic tiling for a better, happier look downstairs.

I want to know what precautions I should take for asbestos, if any at all for sheet vinyl? My house was built in 1975 in Minnesota, and I do not know if the sheet vinyl is original or not. Here are some pictures of what it looks like:

My plan is to take off the baseboards and just rip the sheet out, cut it up and throw it in the trash.

Bonus question: In the 2nd picture, there is a slight dip/angled slope going towards the door. With ceramic tiles, is it going to be possible to put tile there without looking ridiculous? Or am I going to need to add some cement there to make it level, anyone have experience with this?

It's possible that it's asbestos, but I doubt it. Only way to be sure is to get it tested. It would be more likely if it was 12x12 or 9x9 tile.

Could I get away with running a high-quality air filter, wear a P2 disposable respirator, and closing the doors? The reason I'm asking is I have the week of Thanksgiving coming up here off and I don't want to wait for the asbestos kit to ship in, take samples, and ship out because by the time I get results, my vacation will be over

As long as you keep anything you scrape wet, you should be OK. Remember it must be friable (basically dust) to be dangerous.
