subfloor prep before laminate

I'm removing the carpet in my last room upstairs to install laminate
My subfloor is OSB 19/32
I have 1 spot with a "dent": looks like I will pierce it if I push with a screwdriver...it's not that big though: a little bit smaller than my fist
Now, can I just patch it with wood filler or something else? I would rather avoid to replace a portion of the subfloor....

Dig the loose crap out back to solid and then fill with go do, wood filler, whatever. Ron
