Is this a stupid idea?

OK, I am removing the carpet in the master bedroom to install laminate flooring (12 mm with pad)
The subfloor is OSB. I will have to sand the seams to get a flat surface
I noticed the sound insulation was not great.....In the dining room underneath, I can hear pretty well when my dog is walking in the bedroom upstairs
In another room, I have put the underlayment "Bellawood Premium" from LL under the laminate. But I feel the laminate is a little springy (just a little though)
For the master bedroom, i was thinking to lay down that felt, but staple a 1/4" plywood underlayment rated on top of it
It will give me the flat and smooth surface from the plywood without being "springy", and the bellawood premium will bring the acoustic insulation
Is this a crazy idea?

Does it come in roll?
Where can i find some?
And what about the idea to have it "sandwitched" between OSB and 1/4" plywood?

It goes under the flooring, not between the layers.
It comes in rolls.
Any real floor place or on line.

Do you know this product?

Looks like it's what I am looking for...and cheaper than the Bellawood Premium form LL
