Smaller than 1/4 inch gap ok?

I installed Smartcore pro vinyl planking in my kitchen and dining room. The recommended gap between each wall is 1/4 inch. In some spots it is maybe half of 1/4 inch.

Is this really that big of a deal, should I rip up all the work and make sure it is 1/4 inch. None of it is directly touching the wall, just the gaps in some spots are much less than others.

The other issue is that the pre-existing trim would barely fit to conceal the edge in some spots.

I would be asking about the best way to cut that little bit off with out ripping it out. Maybe a multi saw.
