Satin Bona Traffic HD on Lightly Stained Maple Strip Floor

Hi. Does anyone have experience - good or bad - with using Satin Bona Traffic HD on a 2 1/4" maple floor?

The manufacturer recommends 2 coats so we asked for the 2 coats but now I'm reading that a satin finish on maple can be a problem and semi-gloss or gloss is recommended.

Also, using more than 1 coat can magnify any problems which they say can be: shinier and duller areas on the floor clearcoat.

If you've used this product in satin finish and/or any other finish, if you'd be willing to share what you did and your results, that'd be much appreciated!

Thank you!
