Getting ready to lay my kitchen floor wondering what would look best on the plank direction. would it be best to keep it floor direction the same as the living that it transitions from ? Or does it really mater ?

Re: Plank direction

Doesn't really matter to be honest. Depends on what looks good in the space. It isn't hard to lay out a few sections and just get an idea.

Re: Plank direction

lay several planks out in different directions and then you and your
significant other stand back, look at it, and brainstorm it.

you could google: "Wood Planks in Kitchen Images" to see some
samples of how others have done it. (google is your friend).
