Maple sill which seperates flooring

I have a maple (sill), not sure about the correct name which separates a living room carpet from a tile kitchen floor. The sill came loose from the concrete underneath, what kind of adhesive can I use to permanently attach to the floor?
Attached you see a pic of the sill and whats underneath it.

That is called a "Transition strip"
You can use construction adhesive to anchor it back
