Lumber liquidators utility oak

Does anyone have or have installed the utility oak wood floors from lumber liquidators? I know there is a lot of waste involved but at .99 sq ft I can buy plenty of extra and still be at a good price per sq.ft.

My question is that it's mostly shorts (12"-16" lengths) I do have a old house so I'm not afraid of something thats unique but with only shorts would this make the floor look to busy? Thanks in advance!

Shorts on utility grade flooring is the least of the problems.A lot of it is not milled correctly and is checked.

I guess you missed the 60 min. story on TV about Lumber Liquidators and there selling imported flooring loaded with chemical's to save money.
Going to be lots of laws suites coming upon this one.
I'd pass on anything there selling.

Never did hear if they were fined for violating the embargo against buying Russian lumber.
