What do you mean?

Are you saying you want to abandon the floor drain and raise the floor around the drain to make the floor level?

Floor drain

No we'll keep the floor drain but we would like to put a little sink in but with the floor not level it would be difficult to place one in the area where the floor drain is

O-k-a-a-a-a-a-y! Ah, uhm, ah, I sense a contradiction here.

How about a wall hung sink? Do you want a sink? Would you like a sink? What color is your automobile?

The floor drain is only for overflow in case of flooding so putting in a sink is a separate issue ie: the sink drain will be plumbed into the sewer line, not the floor drain.

You can level the floor around the drain with mapei tri/patch or equivalant but first increase the height of the drain by glueing on an extension pipe so you have something to level to and a proper opening to place in a cover (never know when you want access to the drain)

*note, if this is the only drain then any flooding will cause both greater damage and could place into question insurance coverage......
