How to tile over concrete basement floor

We have a bathroom in basement. I would like to put ceramic or porcelain tile over concrete. What is best procedure? I've laid tile on cement board but never bare concrete. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Tim

If there are no major cracks, moisture problems or other floor issues, just put thinset on the concrete and install your tile.
