Question

Help picking engineered hardwood floor

Need suggestions on engineered hardwood flooring. It will be installed in my front room/hallway. Raised foundation, first floor, medium foot traffic.

I was looking at the schon cherry engineered clic flooring from lumber liquidators but after reading reviews from other sites it sounds like a bad choice.

Im looking for something under $5 a sq ft and can be installed as a floating floor. I want to hear what others have installed and have success with.

Thanks for the help guys!

i would do some research on lumber liquidators before making your purchase. just use the search in the black bar and you can also google lumber liquidators reviews.

Im looking for the "good brands" In the eng. wood flooring world. At least that gives me a place to start looking.

I guess the reason I say that is because that's all I have experience with. After looking at more products it looks like I'm going to be renting a pneumatic stapler. None of the nice stuff is a floating floor.

Make sure it's a flooring gun not just a staple gun.
