help with floor transition of two different heights

have a tile floor merging with a hardwood floor.

there is a 1/4" height different which is not the issue. i just need a reducing threshold/transition.

the problem i have is the length of flooring is 11 1/2' long. All the transitions that i can find dont go longer than 7 1/2'.

what are suggestions? do i just put 2 together? im afraid of that looking cheap.

any input would be great.

You need to leave an expansion gap between the two floors, so either a "T" or baby threshold is the most likely choice. It kinda depends on which is higher too. You always have to piece anything that long unless you can make your own. Got pics including at least one of the ends?
