Gap Size, wood floor to tile?

Hi, I'm installing 6in engineered wood floor, and wondering the gap size I should leave as it will run parallel to tiled fireplace? I will frame around it fireplace with flooring. Thought I would use silicone caulk to fill gap.
Thank you so much for your help!

Read the install directions on there website or right on the box.
Want a warranty on the flooring, follow there directions to a tee.
If so it's does not matter what anyone says on any web site.

Thank you. I have read the install paper, but it does not address this issue. Yes I agree, I am doing everything as specified to keep my warranty.

Re: Gap Size, wood floor to tile?

So looking over install directions, it says to leave 1/2 inch over perimeter of room, which I have. Then it says " Also leave expansion space where the flooring will meets any vertical obstruction, such as cabinets, pipes, stairs or tiles. My tile is not a vertical obstruction, I've never seen wood flooring meet tile fireplace with 1/2 in gap.
