flooring soaked up liquid

Puppy left a pee accident on floor, and of course, it was right at a seam where two planks meet. Now, one of the planks that soaked up a bit, has expanded and is a bit raised. Is there a trick or hack to get it back to normal? I was thinking of re-wetting it, and either setting something really heavy on it, or using an iron? just curious if anyone has tried anything and was successful...

What is the flooring material? If it is laminate, it is a goner.

....laminate... and of course its right smack dab in the middle of the huge room, so getting to it to replace the one board would take a weekend. guess ill tell the wife to buy a rug... haha.
