Floor leveler as floor surface

I am planning on leveling over a radiant heat mat I am installing in my bathroom on top of sub floor.

My choices after that are tile or epoxy (I have a friend that does epoxy in bathrooms). But I also heard that there was a floor leveler that can be stained and sealed as is. So it becomes the final floor. Must be pretty hard and hardy after it dries.

I am trying to find out what brand of floor leveler can be used in this way. Anybody know?

I think you have been mislead---I never heard of a floor leveler that was tough enough for use as a wear surface----If you want to pursue that ,call the manufacturers and see what they say----but don't get your hopes up----Mike---

...and, depending on how much "leveling" the floor really needs, your radiant can be more effective (react faster) in some areas than others.
